Through his paintings, Wei Pen seeks to create a meeting between real and imaginary, between nature and the intimate. The emerging young artist’s abstract landscapes express ‘lyrical breath’ , rhythm, space, and light.

In his paintings, color creates form. WeiPen begins his creative process by sculpting on the canvas using a knife and spatula, followed by brushwork with acrylics on linen.
